Our brief was to carry out a total interior refurbishment of this Grade II Listed Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. In particular, our client wanted us to create a brighter feel, increase seating capacity and bring its design and personality in line with its sister restaurants: Muse Continental Cafe and Cena Trattoria, both based in Yarm.

Working within the constraints of the Grade II listed building, we were able to secure the necessary planning consent for the reconfigured layout and public areas. The new design features a light-filled conservatory style extension in the heart of the restaurant to maximize views of the walled garden, as well as a larger separate bar area which can be used by restaurant guests or as a venue in its own right
