Our brief was to ‘re-imagine’ an existing office block, situated in the popular leafy suburbs of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, to create home-from-home serviced apartments and studios aimed at the corporate and family markets. Working within the constraints of the existing structure and its services, the space was reinvented to create the maximum number of units, whilst ensuring that each apartment did not feel ‘boxy’ and was not compromised in terms of space and quality of finish.
